Parallel Wavelet Reconstruction for 3D Objects.Bachelor-ThesisWavelets are widely used in multiresolution modeling. The first goal of this thesis is to perform a wavelet decomposition of high-resolution 3D objects (offline). Next, the resulting decomposition is used in order to reconstruct a desired level of detail on-the-fly using GPGPU (online). Finally, surface normals are computed according to the reconstructed geometry. That allows rendering with adaptive level of detail and high-quality shading.
Requirements: Strong C/C++ skills; OpenGL/D3D11
