The Chair for Computer Science 9 (Computer Graphics) primarily trains students in computer science and computational engineering but also other students from the ‘Technischen Fakult├Ąt’ or the Mathmatics Department with computer science as subsidiary subject.
The fundamental lectures are “Computer Graphics”, “Visualization” and “Geometric modelling”. All lectures are accompanied by programming tutorials. Based on these basic lectures there are some specialized courses for subjects like “Analyis and Visualization of Medical Images”, “Interactiv Computer Graphics”, “Computer Animation”, “Geometry Processing” etc.

Beyond this we offer the Graphics Programming Exercises “GraPra” and “GraPro”. Students have to implement four given, comprehensive exercises individually and extend the gained skills in a fifth project they can choose for themselves. Despite the time consuming nature of this course it is very popular for several years now.
